My career started in commerce. A decade later, I'm still in that world — Magento, Adobe Commerce, B2B flows, performance work — but increasingly my clients ask the same question: "can AI do this?" The answer is usually yes, if you treat it as engineering.
That's the thread running through my work now: applying the same production discipline that keeps commerce sites standing during peak traffic to the messy, probabilistic world of LLMs. Retrieval, evaluation, observability, boring infrastructure. The unglamorous parts that determine whether a feature survives contact with real users.
How I Work
Discovery
One week. I understand the problem, constraints, and stakeholders. You get a written plan with scope, timeline, and price.
Ship weekly
Working software every week. Shared backlog, async-first, demo-able increments. No surprises at the end.
Hand off
Documentation, runbooks, and a calm handover. I stay available for follow-up, but I don't create dependencies.
